Master's Thesis Project

Decoding mouse brain development through machine learning-based techniques
Understanding mouse brain development is a challenging task and one that requires analyzing large-scale neuroimaging datasets. In recent years, our lab has developed a variety of machine learning-based tools [1,2] to analyze mouse brain imaging datasets collected from different genetic markers across various postnatal ages. We aim to extend these efforts in understanding the mouse brain development through
analyzing anatomical and functional imaging datasets.

Requirements:
- Pursuing a Master in Neuroscience/EE/CS/Maths or a similar field with a strong
interest in Computational Neuroscience and Machine Learning
- Experience programming in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch is a huge plus

Master's Thesis Project

We currently have an opening for an exciting Master's Thesis Project (at least 6 months) on neural circuit development of sensory cortices. The study will involve the usage of anatomical and functional approaches and will be conducted under the supervision of a PhD student in the lab. This position is available immediately.
