The laboratory of Neural Connectivity is looking for a master student in molecular biology/bioinformatics to work on a project that focuses on rewiring events in the mature brain. Outcomes of this research will potentially offer a better understanding of synapse function and facilitate repair after injury or in neurological disorders. The project involves single-cell RNAseq, quantitative PCR, immunochemistry and bioinformatics. The project requires basic knowledge in neuroscience, and experience in basic molecular/cellular or in computational techniques.
The position is for 6-12 months, and is in the Irchel Campus of the University of Zurich. Applications including a detailed CV and a letter of motivation should be sent to Csaba Földy email
